I go to the Geolocation ribbon tab online map and use the capture area. Acorrding to the AutoCAD help after I use this command it is embeded in the drawing so it will plot out. Turn off Bing Aerial. Go back to the original drawing, Copy your solar panels and all other objects using 0,0 as basepoint. Paste them in the new drawing at 0,0.

Capture the captured area in the Geolocation Tab as an Image
WEB12-30-2021 05:39 AM. There’s no AutoCAD way to copy a ‘captured’ image from modelspace and paste it to a layout tab. (Such an image isn’t even considered, or listed, as an xref.) If you’re desperate, you could use the built in Windows Snipping Tool to capture a screenshot of the road map.
