The universal plate on the front of the skid steer became a standard about 1995. The only other considerations are in the pump flow to drive the attachments . some need a high flow pump to run. .

I have been talking to a case dealer and a New holland dealer as well as Bobcat. Price for a C227 New holland is 52,000 just the machine and bucket.

May 28, 2017. #4. on a bobcat the hi flow option must be turned on through service analyzer software (available to dealers only) all LH panels are the same, so the button is there for that option. if the light comes on it probably has hi flow installed. the machine may have a hi flow decal on the rear uprights, or somewhere near the hyd couplers.

I'll qualify what Steve said about them being the same--while the late model ones may be the same, go back 10 or 15 years, (and there are still quite a few machines that age that are in service), and they're different, or at least the New Holland ones differ from Case ones. I haven't spent enough time on actual Bobcats to know ...

Requirements are: Wheeled machine. No tracks Foot controls. 2000-2500# capacity.

Sep 15, 2010. #1. I always ran bobcats but picked up this used 1999 nh lx985 a couple years ago and ended up liking nh so much I sold the new bobcat. It has 2300 hrs on it, has seen some hard use and its a little loose and I am sorta woried about what might go wrong in the next 700+ hrs. Any idea what tends to go on these with this kind of hours.

Nov 27, 2012. #9. New hollands are 10w30 throughout machine. Keeps things simple. chaincases, hydro and motor. The book gives you a chart of everything you can use. 10w30 is very common. Cat also uses 10w30 for engine oil. They use advanced 10w for hydro. New new hollands use smurf fluid but you can flush it out for 10w30.
