Similar to the G37, a bit bigger and more spacious, a bit less sporty since it's FWD based despited torque vectoring of SH-AWD, still an incredible car and incredible value. Mazda 3 AWD, or Camry AWD.

Had originally looked at RAV-4’s - used models in my market with 70k KMs 2018ish are going for equivalent to brand new.

For most interpretations of "Best", i.e. performance in bad weather, torsen-based quattro is very good, very possibly the best. Subaru also uses a mechanical, permanent AWD system so that's good too. Realistically though, the modern, electronic variants like Haldex are just as good as permanent systems.

Apr 26, 2020 · AWD system got us out of a few snowy hiccups and brought it back to sell to my mother in law. Oil and filter changes, brakes, and a battery in 5 years with over 80k miles. The backseat legroom is smaller than a RAV4, but if that isn’t a deal killer than its worth looking into.

Nov 26, 2021 · I would bet 75% of the total vehicles on our roads are FWD with snow tires. Montreal, QC has double our average snowfall at 82" avg. per year and probably 85% of vehicles there are FWD with snow tires. Just get winter tires, you don't need to spend thousands of to switch to an AWD car for your light snowfall.
