As soon as it's starting and starts to grab the cart wants to go forward so I guess it's idling to high but to low and I don't think it would stay running.

It is not recommended to pour oil into the gas tank as it will not mix, you should add the oil to a gas can and shake it up to mix the solution. Dave.

A larger golf cart carburetor and another change to the muffler & exhaust system were implemented trying to get more power for the car.

Jun 7, 2011 · Use a wrench under the wire to ensure that the stud does not turn. Now start the engine and observe the voltage which should be ~12 volts. With the engine running ground the green wire and observe the voltage. If it rises to 18 volts the generator is at fault. If it stays at 12 volts the regulator needs to be replaced.
