Bandai Namco confirmed that after the release, Elden Ring on PS4 Pro and XONE X will run at a locked 30 fps, something neither device has had much of an issue with so far. Both consoles have kept animation fluidity at 30-40 fps.

Performance-wise, the PS4 Pro’s frame-rate is unlocked, though it doesn’t quite hit a stable 60fps. In fact, the PS4 Pro version of Elden Ring sits more in the 30-50fps range depending on what’s happening on-screen. From a visual perspective, the PS4 Pro runs Elden Ring at 1800p using Sony’s checkerboard rendering technique.

You still won't manage 4K, but you will get 1800p which is much closer than you will get with the base generation consoles. They will still run at about 30fps, however. During the network test people were noticing Elden Ring sat in the mid-30s, meaning you will get a few more frames than with the regular versions of the consoles.
