Does Directv Allow You To Subscribe To JUST A Sports Package?
WEBDec 1, 2008 · The current packages offered by DirecTV include - Family, Choice, Choice Xtra, Choice Xtra Plus DVR, Choice Xtra Plus HD DVR and Premier. I don't see Basic or Preferred Choice as "current package" offerings. Besides, the basic answer is that you can't just have a premium sports package like Sunday Ticket, Center Ice, etc.

I think i have had it and about ready to cancel my DirecTV.

When I called today to talk about what could be done to lower it, they just told me to move down to the basic package and then left me on hold and eventually disconnected after 20 minutes on hold. I think all the hardware surge charges are ridiculous.

WEBMar 20, 2019 · Ok here’s what I found out they have a basic package consisting of 33 channels and are able to change out and substitute for any channels. They are in the process of changing out some channels now for others that clients preferred. Apparently there is no Guide channel so that means using DirecTV’s online guide or their app.

Also the wording in the contract this year states that a directv subscritpion is required, but no longer specifies a minimum package. So maybe one of the unadvertised packeages like DirecTv Basic ($9.99) or DirecTV Locals Only ($5.99) might suffice this contract.
