Dec 24, 2013 · Dear Dennis Kirk, Please hire whoever does the McMaster Carr website to do yours. McMaster has a 4 inch thick print catalog and I can easily find and compare anything I want on the website. DK has a half inch thick catalog and the website shows me parts for a Harley when I search for a snowmobile. The DK website sucks. Thanks

Oct 26, 2009 · thats too bad, comet was one of those companies that i would have thought that they would go out of buisness. maybe someone could just make some of the parts like weights springs and rebuild kits to help to keep the old clutches in good shape and still giong. the company might be out of buisness but what they made was a HUGE part of the snowmobile industry. buy all you can of the spare parts ...

Dec 2, 2014 · The CDI was available as an IMPORT replacement in the catalogs as a 01-306 or G8-306, as well as the other numbers you see below from Sno-Stuff, Parts-Unlimeted, Dennis-Kirk etc. NIPPONDENSO 163-101 / NACHMAN 01-143-22-NB / G8-306.

I had a 75 Harley Y440 we bought new, great sled, the odd oil filled clutch once gave me an issue but was easily fixed, sold it in the 80's still running well. i do hear that they have issues wit the CDI unit failing more recently but that is no uncommon for many 70's CDI ...
