Gavin Creel, the musical theater actor who won a Tony Award for "Hello, Dolly!" and an Olivier Award for "The Book of Mormon," died on Monday at his home in Manhattan.

Last year, Creel was in Chicago starring as The Wolf in the national touring production of "Into the Woods" at the Nederlander Theatre.

Creel, who won a Tony Award for his performance in "Hello, Dolly," died on Monday of a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
