Cobra Kai' star Ralph Macchio will reprise his role of Daniel LaRusso alongside Jackie Chan in the upcoming 'Karate Kid: Legends' film.

Legends reveals Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan's movie return to the franchise, alongside a new young character.

Aside from influencing a Coldplay song, Ralph Macchio is best known for playing Daniel LaRusso in the Karate Kid franchise. He starred alongside Pat Morita and Elisabeth Shue in the original movie and reprised the role in the two sequel movies.

Legends premiered at New York Comic Con – and it looks like an epic return to the beloved martial arts franchise. In the brief clip, which has not yet been released to the public, we see Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) pay a visit to Daniel LaRusso's (Ralph Macchio) Miyagi-Do.
