The age gap between Georgie and Mandy is hard to ignore. When they first meet, Georgie is only 17, while Mandy is 29. In an October interview with Deadline, Steve Holland, the show's co-creator, confirmed that Georgie is 19 and Mandy is 31 in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.

In order for the show to work, Sheldon Cooper — whether it's Jim Parsons or Iain Armitage — can't be in the picture if Big Bang Theory lore counts.
