Hamas confirmed the death of commander Zahi Yaser Abd al-Razeq Oufi, head of its network in Tulkarm, West Bank, on Friday night. The Al-Qassam Brigades vowed to retaliate, stating that "actions before words" will follow and Israel will "pay the price.

Hamas' armed wing al-Qassam Brigades confirmed death of one of its commanders Zahi Yaser Oufi in an Israeli strike on the West Bank city of Tulkarm along with seven other fighters, the group said in a statement on Friday.

Hamas confirmed that commander Zahi Yaser Abd al-Razeq Oufi was killed by the strike, who the IDF say attempted a car bombing last month and supplied weapons. The Israeli military said the air strike was a joint operation with its Shin Bet security service, aimed at killing Oufi and "other significant terrorists".
