In the first two Dragon Ball Daima episodes, most of the Z-Fighters have been featured in some capacity. Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and their allies have been featured in the brief days following the defeat of Kid Buu but one hero has been kept under wraps despite their major influence in the Buu Saga.

At the beginning of this year, news broke of Akira Toriyama's passing. Since then, numerous tributes have been made to one of the most significant creators in the manga and anime industries. Another has now been discovered in the latest animation project he worked on.

At this year’s New York Comic Con, Dragon Ball Daima executive producer Akio Iyoku shared some of how Akira Toriyama was involved.
