While Google Docs might be the first online word processor that comes to mind for most of us, it's by no means the only option out there on the web—and one of the best alternatives is the free, web-based version of Word that Microsoft makes available.

Word has several menu options across the top of the page, and the first is the "File" option on the left. On the web app, if I click on "File," a drop-down menu appears with at least ten options, many of which expand when you hover over them. In the Microsoft Word app, the "File" tab takes you to a dashboard with even more menu options.

The widely-used word processor has confirmed a bug which instead of saving files, actually ends up deleting them. The issue does not affect every version of Microsoft Word, but us
