The Tennessee Titans placed center Lloyd Cushenberry and safety Quandre Diggs on injured reserve Wednesday, while they signed Mike Edwards.

The Titans have landed an experienced safety to help offset the loss of injured Quandre Diggs. The team will sign six-year veteran Mike Edwards pending a physical, per ESPN. Edwards had reportedly asked the Buffalo Bills for his release this week, after playing seven defensive snaps through the team’s first nine games.

He was quickly put on a cart and driven back to the locker room. He has been ruled out for the rest of the game. Mike Brown replaced Diggs on the defense. Rookie Julius Wood is the only other reserve safety on the Titans' active roster beyond Brown.
