PITTSBURGH -- The NFL trade deadline has passed, and the Pittsburgh Steelers were among the most active teams at the deadline. They acquired wide receiver Mike Williams and edge rusher Preston Smith, boosting two rooms on each side of the football.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens were buyers as the NFL trade deadline passed Tuesday. The New Orleans Saints were the most prominent sellers. Wide receivers and pass rushers remained in focus,
