Kyran was officially reported missing from his home in Drogheda, Co Louth, in late August, alongside his mother, Dayla Durnin (24). The official missing persons report was made on August 30th and stated the child was last seen on August 28th at about 11am.

Gardaí (Irish police) are to search a house and surrounding grounds in County Louth as they investigate the disappearance of an eight-year-old boy. Kyran Durnin was reported missing from his home in Drogheda in August.

Gardaí have sealed off a home as part of the search for missing Kyran Durnin. The missing 8-year-old is presumed dead as investigators took control over a private property in order to perform a full formal search of the home and dig in the garden.
