Mikal Bridges hasn’t played his first regular season game with the New York Knicks but there are already questions about how long he’ll remain with the franchise. According to Marc Stein, per New York Basketball,

The New York Knicks have Mikal Bridges under contract for the next two seasons after acquiring him in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets, and he reportedly is going to wait until the next offseason to work out an extension with his new team, according to Marc Stein.

The 28-year-old, who averaged 21.2 points a game over the last two years with the Brooklyn Nets, was acquired by the Knicks in a blockbuster trade in June.
