After recalling 1.6 million cars earlier this month, Honda has issued another round of recalls affecting over 700,000 vehicles. These recalls follow one issued in December 2023 that covered more than 2.4 million cars. Like the more recent recall, the source of the issue was the fuel pump.

Honda Cars India is recalling 92,672 vehicles, including Amaze, City, BR-V, Jazz, Brio, WR-V, and Accord models manufactured between August 2017 and June 2018, to address defective fuel pump impellers.

Honda Cars India said on Friday that it is recalling an additional 2,204 units to repair defective fuel pumps in certain models, bringing the total to 92,672 units.

Following the Honda recall over a steering issue earlier this year, the carmaker has announced measures to find and replace faulty fuel pumps in some of its most popular models.
