A pair of IP-based projects at Amazon aren’t moving forward after several years of development. The tech giant’s Freevee streaming service has scuttled a sequel to the 1980s sitcom Who’s The Boss?, which had original series stars Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano attached to reprise their roles.

The ‘Bosch’ spinoff would have marked a return for Jamie Hector’s detective character, while the ‘Who’s the Boss?’ continuation would have reunited Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano.

It appears Renée Ballard will be the only Bosch-verse character getting their own spinoff. TVLine has learned that a previously in-development Bosch offshoot focused on Jamie Hector’s Jerry Edgar is no longer moving forward at Prime Video.
