Yet another Stephen King adaptation is coming to TV and this time, the author is partnering up with A24 on the project.

Stephen King’s Fairy Tale novel is being turned into a television series. Fairy Tale was published in September 2022. Written by King, the novel follows a 17-year-old boy named Charlie Reade who finds himself in the middle of a war between good and evil after he is transported to a hidden realm.

It took practically no time at all for an adaptation of Stephen King’s Fairy Tale to enter development. The novel first arrived in stores in September 2022, and it was less than a month later that the news broke of writer/director Paul Greengrass developing it as a feature.
