Firefighters are battling a large structure fire in North Hollywood early Sunday evening, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

More than 50 firefighters put out a large fire in North Hollywood on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 20. Firefighters responded around 4 p.m. to a large exterior fire at 11115 W. Vanowen St., near Vineland Avenue, next to railroad tracks and a commercial building, according to an alert from the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire broke out at a commercial structure on W. Vanowen Street between Tujunga and Vineland avenues. The NCAA Football Playing Rules Committee is actively “engaged” in examining Oregon's controversial play for possible action.
