The First Alert Weather Teams says a few evening showers will move west off the Atlantic though will be pretty scattered. Otherwise a humid night.

A cold front Friday evening clears the area, taking any stray showers with it, and high pressure builds in quickly through Saturday morning. This will set us up for a gorgeous early fall day on Saturday.

First Alert Meteorologist Mike Buresh says winds have made the shift to out of the east and northeast so the weather will trend wetter and cooler with brisk winds at the beaches.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Sunny and mild weather is on the way on Friday before clouds win out later in the afternoon. A weak cold front will cross the region in the evening with clouds and perhaps a light shower but most of the time will be dry. Temperatures on Friday will be in the 70s.

And there is a high risk of rip currents this weekend at local beaches. Highs will be in the lower to mid-80s. This weekend, we can expect on-and-off showers with highs in the lower 80s. And showers are likely this Sunday for the Jaguars game.
