Real Madrid has extended Dani Carvajal’s contract after tests showed he will likely be sidelined for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.

Dani Carvajal signed a new contract with Real Madrid to keep him at the club until June 2026 despite suffering a devastating knee injury. Carvajal's contract with Los Blancos was set to expire in the summer of 2025.

Real Madrid have extended defender Dani Carvajal’s contract by a further year until 2026. The 32-year-old right-back’s deal had been due to expire in the summer of 2025. Carvajal’s renewal comes one day after he suffered a likely season-ending knee ligament injury against Villarreal.
