Lake Shasta Caverns does have boat docks on both sides of the Lake for their Ferry Boats and a WW2 Landing craft used in the D Day Invasion. Before you embark I'd certainly call the Lake Shasta Caverns at tel:+18007952283 to make sure everything is copacetic. Knowing the hours that the Cavern Ferry Boat travel across the Lake, If there is any closures due to construction, any Forest Fires in the area, is there any dock fees, etc would all be helpful to know before you plan the trip.
